The (early December) rumour was McIntyre vs Lesnar vs Lee for Mania - make of that what you will.

I think there's probably too many moving parts in play at the moment to have any idea how Mania will shake out (not least from a Covid/fans in attendance point of view) - you've got McIntyre vs Goldberg at the Rumble which could lead to a sequel at Mania if McIntyre was to lose at the Rumble. You've got whoever wins the Rumble itself. Roman vs Jey as a potential option. Roman vs Bryan would be my preference. Rumour was they were going down the Roman vs Goldberg route again, and clearly a crowd being present or not doesn't really play into WWEs thinking on Goldberg if they'll have him at the Rumble (I don't think they have clearance for a crowd there?) so that could be in play. And that's not to mention something like a Lesnar return.

Like the sound of all of that Powder. Unfortunately I think it'll be Sheamus that ends up challenging McIntyre at 'Mania, unless Lesnar returns.

Riddle and Lashley can pull double duty at the Rumble, where Lashley drops the US title in the opener, then goes on to have a good showing in the Rumble. I do not think that Lashley should win the Rumble, but win the EC. The winner should come from SD, namely Daniel Bryan. Bryan should finally get his Rumble win, and it continues on the long term booking with Roman and Bryan.

Riddle can then have a US Title match at Mania.....maybe against Keith Lee,

Do you think they'll do it at the Rumble with Lashley already announced for the Rumble itself? I was wondering whether they might use the Rumble itself to build this between them further and then have them go at it on the next show, or maybe even draw it out to Mania if they were to both be in the Elimination Chamber and continue the build there.

I like how Riddle got a bit of a lucky one on Raw, as it immediately gives Lashley reason to come back at him. I don't think Lashley has lost many, if any, one on one matches since his title shot at Backlash last year either, so it means something for Riddle to win.

Riddle keeps getting praise from a lot of different superstars, from AJ to Hogan. He can be a top star soon. he is not ready yet, but it appears that the short term plan is going to be a Riddle vs Lashley for the US title, probably at the Rumble.

If this happens, then I hope that Riddle wins for 2 reasons.
    1. This would free up Lashley so Lashley can move onto a WM feud with Drew.
    2. If Riddle loses, this could potentially bury him for a while.
