I used to do that here in Canada when that was a monthly option. Circa 2007-2010 ish. I loved it.

I like Odyssey Jones. Think there's really something about him.
NXT is still, by some way, my preferred show of the week (I think if I can get myself back into NWA Powerrr that might change). Interested to see how they handle these supposed changes and whether they creep in over time or are a sudden adjustment, especially in terms of presentation. I can't imagine they just almost wholesale shift away from the wrestlers they've been building up over a number of months in favour of a different style/size of guy as has been reported, and honestly find that bit of the reports quite hard to believe. But I could see them being a bit more developmental on the production side and testing new things which will shift to the main roster in the future (if they work out) as has happened with other things in the past.Comment

Great promo segment between Cena and Reigns on SmackDown. Cena still shined, but Roman held his own against one of the best and you could tell her was WAY more comfortable than their 2017 encounter. Cena's reference to Punk was perfect on so many levels.Comment

That's right. For some reason I forgot about Miz winning it and only remembered him losing it. Go figure.Comment

I love this idea - which I've seen in the comments on results from Raw - that WWE has done the cash in because they are somehow 'fearful' of AEW. Like, the decision to have an untested at main event level Big E hold the top title on Raw is definitely a reaction to AEWs ratings. Sure.
Not that I don't think Big E will be a success as champion, mind. I've long said that he'd be WWE Champion and once he got it he'd never drop from that level. I just don't think this is a decision driven by any kind of AEW ratings or success.Comment

I don't know, I've read reports that while Big E cashing in on Lashley was planned it was originally going to take place during the draft in 3 week's. Seeing as they already had Lashley/Orton scheduled for Extreme Rules and spent over half of last week's show building to another tag title match tonight I can definitely see moving the title switch up being a reaction to the ratings. Not saying I 100% believe that's the case but it's definitely plausible.Comment

Big E wining tonight was 100% ratings driven.
There was a reason that E tweeted out that he is cashing in on RAW, and AEW plays a part. But what many of you are forgetting, that last night was the season premier of Monday Night Football. RAW usually takes a hit whenever MNF is on, especially the first game of the season. So, while I believe AEW has some part to play, I believe that the NFL played a much bigger part in why they moved Lashley vs Orton match and subsequently E cashing in, with the tweet earlier.Comment

Oh, I can get the whole 'let's boost the ratings' angle, for sure, but I don't think anything WWE does pre-show isn't with the idea that it'll boost ratings, or at least get some people watching.
I just don't think AEW's ratings are in mind when making those decisions. But, that won't stop the AEW marks, I guess.Comment
