And it looks like Ridge Holland will be out for about a year...probably torn ACL or MCL or both.

Ridge Holland underwent surgery today and is not medically cleared to compete after catching Oney Lorcan’s dive last night. Holland suffered a left ankle dislocation and fracture, and a right knee patellar dislocation and patellar tendon rupture. The knee dislocation was put back into place at ringside, and the ankle dislocation was put back into place at the emergency room

Damn...hopefully he can make a full recovery and get back soon. There will be big things in his future if can make it back.

I thought Ember's career was completely over due to her injury - thought she had basically completely detached her achilles tendon.

I'm in the process of catching up with NXT at the moment, but Balor vs O'Reilly might be my favourite wrestling match I've seen in a couple of years, if not longer. The best match I've ever seen Balor have, at the very least.

I've never found Cameron Grimes more entertaining than tonight. I love how he drops everything for a chance to see some boobs.

I had anticipated this UE vs McAfee stuff would end up there when Pat teamed up with Oney/Twoey, but it's confirmed now. I quite like TUE becoming the Horsemen of NXT's version of the match, given they've been in all four to date just like how the Horsemen were in all of the early ones in NWA/WCW.

Last night's NXT was pretty decent - I really liked Kushida vs Ruas, which I wasn't expecting. I'm not really gelling with Candice LeRae at the moment - and in all honesty the announcement of her and Shotzi as team captains going into the women's WarGames bout leaves me a little cold.

One thing I will say on NXT is that I really really like Timothy Thatcher. I mean, it's a style I like anyway, that kind of 'shooter' type of thing, but I think he's really carrying it off well - it helps that he's not got a very clean look, for sure, but that gimmick is really good.

There's a fucking Women's War Games match for a feud that's nowhere near personal enough to warrant War Games? Fuck am I ever over WWE's forced equality bullshit.

That's true, but like I can see UE vs McAfee and Co. in War Games. I absolutely cannot see it with Candice vs Shotzi. Why not just do the one then? Not every gimmick PPV needs one for the men, one for the women and at least one for each brand. Hell in a Cell was dumb as fuck for just that reason.

I really, really don't understand why they're doing the Women's WarGames match this year. It all feels a bit rushed to get there, and they could have just done one on one. Last year it felt like they brought together a lot of thread in the women's match and it worked as a WarGames bout. This year, though, it feels kind of rushed. And, I mean, I like Shotzi but she feels like a weird choice for team captain. She's barely been on NXT TV, really.

A one on one Shotzi vs Candice match on the card works, and then they could have done Io vs Ripley, or Io vs someone else, as well.
