  • The main page says if NXT moved to FS1, the shows would include members of the Smackdown and RAW rosters regularly "to give them a ratings boost." Because those main roster superstars are really boosting the ratings on RAW and Smackdown already?

After reading that, here's hoping it stays on the Network.

    • I get the thinking of doing that once or twice, preferably on the first FS1 episode but also, it will be 3 days of WWE in a week. its simply a big ask for WWE fans to watch that much of wrestling a week.

Nobody is forcing you to watch, and I'm sure WWE realizes NXT would be the least watched show of the 3.

        • I was just stating the simple fact that it’s 3 nights of wrestling and NXT like you say will be the least watched so I don’t see the value of making your talent work more shows regularly if you’re not seeing a proper return

It’s like if they used legends but every month and not every few years like they do now.

          • Honestly, I agree with your intent. Just not your reasoning. It's hard to picture Vince thinking this way, but he should leave a brand alone to someone else. Let it be on its own like it is, and don't change a thing but that it's on TV instead of the Network. Impossible, but if there's a chance Vince will let go of anything, it's likely to be the brand he already is hands off of

            • So, is this Lo Shirai heel turn going to go anywhere? Or is she just going to be used to build up a face so they can take the title off Bazler?

              • She's going to feud with Candice, I believe (I haven't watched the newest episode in full).

My worry is will she actually win, or is she just fodder to build Candice up.

Everyone has to lose sometimes. It depends on who is more valuable as a talent. I prefer Io, and her mic skills are so far better than most of the recent Asian stars signed to WWE. But we also see how Asuka has been used on the main roster. Candice is a very good talent as well. I'm not sold on her yet, but I think her winning over Io is a better option than Vanessa Borne or Aliyah.

                    • Goth Up should tear Candice in half, to be honest.

They're bringing back, essentially, Three Stages of Hell in the main event, which is interesting.

Can see the Undisputed Era leaving Takeover with all of the gold, just for the look of it and the promises they've made on TV.

                      • I'm not really digging Undisputed Era. I like Fish, Strong, and especially O'reiley in the ring, but I think I'm less into "cool heel" stables at 37 years old. It doesn't draw my interest. Cole is ok, I really don't get the superstar rep he has. He's very good on the mic, but isn't great in the ring and looks like a chump.

It's really hard not to want Io to demolish everyone with her new heel entrance, music, and leather pants. I just wouldn't be sad if it's Candice that goes over in the end.

Keith Lee is the biggest potential star in all of WWE. 3-5 years from now, Wrestlemania will be headlined by Lee VS Aleister Black.

                        • Love a bold prediction - mark it down, 26th July 2019, Pen predicts Lee vs Black to headline a Wrestlemania at or before 40.

EDIT: Should add a broad agreement on the 'cool heel' thing. So very over it at this point.

                          • I feel for WWE to reach a new era of excellence, they need to make Undisputed Era on the level (at the very least) of The Shield.

                            • UE is an odd one - they're only really 'cool', in my opinion, because Adam Cole comes down and makes everyone go 'Bay Bay' and 'Boom' during his entrance. Otherwise they're fucking dirtbag shits that should be booed out of every arena they sit foot in.

Mind you, I hate Adam Cole anyway. Just does nothing for me.

O'Reilly, on the other hand, I love. I think he has a great style that's interesting and different enough in the ring, he's willing to put himself through hell to get a match going (like in the ladder match recently, and is a genuinely interesting in ring presence. Would rather watch him in the ring for thirty minutes than Cole at this point.

                              • Chris Sabin is apparently working at the performance center this week. He’s been a favorite of mine since the early days of TNA, and while I know they have guests come in down there all the time with nothing else coming of it, I’d be super stoked if it did lead to something more.
