  • I assume that means 4 reigns, not 4 different titles?

Edit: never mind, you said "four time champion"

    I just woke up!

    • Well, regardless, I said titles of any kind, so that implies not all the same title 4 times. It also means that I could have won the same title more than once.

      • Either way, I've no chuffing idea!

        • I'm not sure I really understand the clues even after clarification, to be honest. I think being more straightforward might help.

But y'know, I'll have a guess just to try. Chavo Guerrero Jr?

          • Not Chavo.

            But to clarify further:

            1. I won four titles total in my WCW and WWE career, but three different titles, with 2 titles in WCW and 2 in WWE (titles of any kind, and I have won one of the titles on 2 occasions).
            2. I was part of four different stables between WCW and WWE.
            3. I had 3 different gimmicks, and with my third gimmick, I had 5 different nicknames to go with it.

Clue 4: I had a really fun fan interaction catchphrase, that I used in WCW for a while, then I stopped, then I reused it in WWE.

                • Total Guess work, was just going to run through the Alliance, haha!

                  1. I had 19 total title reigns in WCW and WWE
                  2. I held tag gold with three VERY different tag partners

                      • Looks like I have time to get a set of clues in, so will now:

                        1) I competed in the first ever WCW Thunder episode
                        2) I am credited with coining the name for the Superkick
                        3) I am a top 200 wrestler of the PWI years

                          Gentleman Chris Adams?

                          • That’s actually who I was thinking, as well, but I didn’t think he was still around when Thunder started.

                            • Gentleman Chris Adams is correct. He was actually in the very first match on Thunder, against Randy Savage. For anyone unfamiliar with his work (and mind you I am a World Class mark) I recommend it. He was pretty crisp and smooth in the ring and could shoot when shit got real. Some of the stories about him out of the ring are pretty extraordinary, but it goes with the territory I suppose. He definitely had his demons.

                              • I know very little about him. Other than he trained Steve Austin ( or his school at least) and he was an early user of the superkick, which I only know as I read it on another site that's doing old WCW reviews!

I'll need to check out some of his stuff.

                                Edit: Here ya go -

                                1. I have held only three titles in my career
                                2. Yet, I am a former PWI Rookie of the year
                                3. and one of the most recognisable names in Wrestling
