    • Great answer, but not right. I can definitely see why you'd think it, though.

      • He came to mind because he was on the first NES Wrestlemania game, a year after he left WWF. That also stood out to me. The music was also the theme from 1987, while released in 1989. It was a weird time for games

          • Lex?

He was always pushed, so it's pretty easy to believe he'd have a + winning percentage until 99, but I find it hard to believe he would have worked fewer than 200 matches per year from 85-88 though.

              • Woo!

I expect this will be pretty easy:

                1) I worked in WWE under two all-time bad gimmicks, and WCW under one all-time bad gimmick.
                2) Despite this, I am an all-time legend in one single territory.
                3) I have competed for prominent promotions in North America, Europe, Japan and Mexico.

                    • It’s funny how little time Shaw actually spent in the WWF and still had two awful gimmicks.

ok let’s give this one a try

                      1) I had my greatest successes in the territory system, but because of the territories I worked in I didn’t bounce around as much as some of my contemporaries.
                      2) I held one regional sets of tag titles 12 times with 7 different partners, three of which are now WWF HOFers
                      3) I have been personally credited by two all times legends with helping them advance in their careers

                      • BK, I'm not understanding clue #1. Seems like a typo or a word missing.

                        But, maybe Jody Hamilton/Assassin?

                        • Thanks Pen! Yes there was a typo and it’s been corrected. Apologies all.

                          Jody Hamilton is incorrect

                          • Jerry Jarrett, perhaps?

                            • Not Jerry Jarrett.

I may have understated this performer’s penchant for moving about in clue 1 so I’m going to add a bonus clue to make up for what might be construed as misleading. This performer did stick around in one territory longer than was considered the norm for the time.

                              1) I had my greatest successes in the territory system, I did bounce around a bit, but because of the territories I worked in I didn’t bounce around as much as some of my contemporaries.
                              2) I held one regional sets of tag titles 12 times with 7 different partners, three of which are now WWF HOFers
                              3) I have been personally credited by two all times legends with helping them advance in their careers
                              4) My best remembered national exposure came in my final run with the WWF where I received a non-occupational related gimmick.
