I would often confuse Katana with Tanaka.

Pen - I love backstory of Katana and Tanaka. I was WAY off on clue three. I had Paul Diamond in my mind based on the first two clues and then was working through News, Blood, and Breed. I linked Diamond to BLOOD diamonds and then knew that Paul Diamond was in a tag called American BREED in his CWA days (now that I dig a bit deeper it dawns on me that his second partner under that moniker was Shawn Michaels...) Couldn't link News, but figured I was close enough on Diamond to give it a go. When you said how close I was, I figured it had to be Tanaka and the mention of Steamboat being the right region solidified that for me.

Onto the next round of clues:

1) I am a one time WWF tag champ
2) I was a witness to the aftermath of one of the most infamous actions to ever occur at a wrestling event
3) My original nickname in wrestling came from my previous career

Witnessed the afternmath of the Bruiser Brody stabbing (first person on the scene). Couldn't quite say he witnessed the event, because I do not believe anyone visually saw what transpired.
