If it is JBL, then he was half of the reason Public Enemy left WWE... that absolute mauling The Acolytes put on Public Enemy on an episode of... Sunday Night Heat, I believe?

Orndorff is correct Pen
Involved in Vader’s departure after they got into a fight and by all accounts Orndorff got the better of it by quite a bit.
Orndorff referred to the fight as part of a worked interview at Clash 32 after he was beaten down and injured by the Horsemen a few months later. The interview was about earning respect, and he even references repeatedly kicking Vader's head (never mentions Vader by name) into the floor while wearing shower shoes. His main focus was on Pillman and the very next segment is where Pillman messed with Bobby Heenan which led to Heenan saying “fuck” on air.
Orndorff got the Mr. Wonderful nickname from Roddy Piper when Piper managed him in the WWFLast edited by BK-097; 01-16-2021, 11:57 AM.

The reason I thought Yokozuna is because he had a promo with Fuji about Hogan losing and leaving WWF, and then got slammed by Luger. And I thought Fuji introduced Yoko onto WWF TV, which could have been construed as giving him the nickname he had for his career.
1 - My WrestleMania record is an abysmal 0-4, with me having 4 different gimmick for each loss.
2 - Despite all the gimmicks, I've gone by mostly the same 2 names in my times in the top 2 promotions of the era.
3 - A real life incident inspired one such gimmick

Cool...
1. I am a well decorated champion, and I worked in three major American Promotions, but I only won 2 different types of titles.
2. My last televised match was against a true Icon of the business, also with a turn in my character.
3. I made a fundamental change to a company before I even made my debut.Last edited by Powder; 01-16-2021, 08:42 PM.

24 hours and no bites:

3. I made a fundamental change to a company before I even made my debut.
Clue 4: I wore a mask in my professional wrestling debut for only 8 matches, but this would not be the last time I would wear a mask, as I wore one 2 more times in my career under 2 different gimmicks for a total of 3 masked gimmicks.Last edited by Powder; 01-17-2021, 09:04 PM.

Clue 5: I am still the only person in my profession to grace the cover of a specific well known magazine (obviously NOT Playboy lol).

YES!!!
1. I am a well decorated champion, and I worked in three major American Promotions, but I only won 2 different types of titles.
Hogan won 6 WWF/E Heavyweight Championships, and 6 WCW Heavyweight Championships, and once was WWE Tag Champion with Edge, Hogan almost went his entire career with only wining the top titles.
2. My last televised match was against a true Icon of the business, also with a turn in my character.
Hogan's last televised match was against Sting in TNA, and turned face when he helped Siting fight off Immortal
3. I made a fundamental change to a company before I even made my debut.
When Hogan was hired by TNA, he changed the ring from 6 sides, back to the traditional 4 sides, before he even made his TV debut.
Clue 4: I wore a mask in my professional wrestling debut for only 8 matches, but this would not be the last time I would wear a mask, as I wore one 2 more times in my career under 2 different gimmicks for a total of 3 masked gimmicks.
Hogan's first 8 matches, he wore a mask as the Super Destroyer, then he was the masked Hulk machine, and finally Mr. America.
Clue 5: I am still the only person in my profession to grace the cover of a specific well known magazine (obviously NOT Playboy lol).
Hogan is the only professional wrestler to be on the cover of Sport illustrated.

Yeah, the magazine thing comes up now and again because there's a bit of a debate about whether or not we should be counting Danny Hodge. Although he was an amateur when they put him on the cover, I think most of the old timers think he's wrestling enough that we should be claiming him. But Hogan obviously comes up in that conversation.
Anyway.
1) I am probably best known for a spell with the WWE.
2) During that spell I gained victories over Mick Foley, Edge, Owen Hart and "Wild" Bill Irwin.
3) I am one of the few wrestlers to win a tournament in the WWF without winning a championship in my time with the company.
