  • Rey Mysterio - I had to double check the eliminations, but he tied HHH in 2006 with 6 eliminations, when he won the Rumble.

And the wrestler was Perro Aguayo Jr., who unfortunately died after Rey drop kicked him setting up the 619.

    • Not who I was thinking of.

      • Wow, that is 2 contests in a row where 2 people fit the answer.....and especially this one, where it involved a wrestler's death in the ring.

        EDIT:

The Great Khali... the wrestler who died was Brian Ong, and he died after Khali hit him with a flapjack after Ong already had a concussion.

        • Yeah it's Khali,

I could pinpoint that clue 1 suggests only one person made the most eliminations...

"1. During one rumble, I eliminated the most people."

I, and no one else, which would disqualify Rey as an answer, but it's a small detail.

          Powder's up.

          • OK...I see your point, but since some of my past clues have been ambiguous, I have tended to be more specific.

            Here we go:

            1. During my first stint with WCW, I made my debut at a Starrcade with my trainer as my partner in a tag team tournament.
            2. I only wrestled 9 matches for the WWF, but during my time in the WWF, and those 9 matches I had 4 different gimmicks, but for my last and most well known gimmick I never actually wrestled a match.
            3. During my second and prominent run in WCW, I was part of 6 different stables in 6 years!

                • I had several runs in WWF and WCW, but never won a title.
Surprisingly, I have a strong PPV record, with my only losses being in multi man matches.
There might still be a hand imprint on my back.

                  • My most famous finishing move was a half nelson with a leg hook.

                        • I thought it was him because of the Self Pat on the Back that he always did. But I cannot remember him in WCW.

I also just checked. How does he have a strong PPV record? He has 5 total matches, with 1 win and 4 losses.

EDIT: I looked further into this, and Horowitz's 1 win came in 1995 in a Dark Match at WWF In Your House 5, Season's Beating; where He, Hakushi, and the Smoking Guns beat The Body Donnas, Isaac Yankem and Yokozuna.

So where is the strong PPV record?

                          • You're forgetting SummerSlam 1995. And I said he only lost in multiman matches (Survivor Series, Rumble, World War 3...)

                            • Let's try this.

                              1) I wrestled more than a hundred matches for NJPW.
                              2) In the US, I am probably best known for a stint in the 1990s.
                              3) I once lost to a future UFC Champion.
