    1. I have won multiple WWE titles as well as one Slammy Award.
    2. I've appeared in each of the last 5 WWE 2K games
    3. I was reportedly not meant to win one of my titles...

    • This may be a trick question.

HBK. He was not "meant" to win at the 1997 Survivor Series, but he did. Bret thought that he was going to win, buuut, HBK did.

      • Not HBK,

        Just to be absolutely clear...

        1. I have won multiple WWE titles as well as ONLY one Slammy Award.
        2. I've appeared in each of the last 5 WWE 2K games ONLY (so no previous versions)

          • Yep, it's Kalisto

The title he wasn't meant to win was the Cruiserweight Title from Enzo Amore, as it was initally pegged to be Neville before he went on AWOL

            • Nice:

              1. I have had multiple titles reigns in 2 Major American promotions, and they were a total of 7 different titles.
              2. My biggest break came at the cost of another, but in essence I owe my career to my former manager.
              3. I am somewhat responsible for a Funkadactyl.

                It's been a day, so clue #4:

                4. I had arguably the worst roll up victory after one of the most famous botches in all of wrestling.

YES!!!! I wanted to make an easier one.

                    1. I have had multiple titles reigns in 2 Major American promotions, and they were a total of 7 different titles.

WCW: TV Champ 2X, US Champ 2X, WCW Tag Champ, NWA Tag Champ
WWF/E: WWF Champ 6X, IC Champ 2X, Tag Champ 4X

                    2. My biggest break came at the cost of another, but in essence I owe my career to my former manager.

Austin's biggest break was at the King of the Ring 1996 at the cost of HHH for being punished for the Curtain Call.
BUT, when he got fired from WCW, Paul Heyman hired Austin and taught him how cut a promo, and essentially developed his entire SCSA persona in ECW.

                    3. I am somewhat responsible for a Funkadactyl.

Austin was the host for Tough Enough season 5, where he had a lot of input for the contestants, and Cameron is the only one to come out of T.E.S.5., and she was the other Funkadactyl with Naomi.

                    4. I had arguably the worst roll up victory after one of the most famous botches in all of wrestling.

Austin's roll up on Owen Hart was understandably terrible after the botched Piledriver.

                    • I had no idea on the Funkadactyl clue. The fourth clue definitely helped quite a bit. Looking back at clue 2 after seeing clue 4 I figured out Paul E, but went the wrong direction on expense of another clue: went the Bret Hart route, as SCSA may have been moved to the front of the line sooner because Hart left for WCW, but either way...

                      this one should be quick

                      1) Despite being recognized as one of the all time greatest in the ring, I was involved in an Observer rated worst match of the year.
                      2) I have won tag gold with too many partners to mention, two of which are WWE HoFers.
                      3) I was involved in the only match to receive a five star rating from Meltzer held on US soil in 1992 (if the previous clues didn't give it away this should)

                      • Arn Anderson?

                        • Shit! Technically, I think you may be right based on the clues, but it's not who I was aiming for. I'll be happy to give this one to you based on the fact that my clues were not sufficiently specific enough

                          • Well I'm pretty sure the Dave Meltzer 5 star match is the Wargames match from 1992... so a possible other guess would be Bobby Eaton?

                            Comment

                            • yup...that was who I was thinking of.

Worst Match was the scaffold match with Eaton & PN News vs Terry Taylor and Steve Austin from GAB 91
Eaton tagged with a ton of people and won belts, the two HOFers are Arn and Sweet Brown Sugar (aka Koko B Ware)
you already named the 5 star match on US soil from 92

fascinating to see the parallels between Arn and Bobby to a degree. Of course Arn could talk on the mic and well....Bobby had his drawbacks there

                              • 1. During one rumble, I eliminated the most people.
                                2. I am a former World Champion
                                3. I was involved in an accidental death in the ring.
