  • I didn't discount it, so much as it didn't come into play because he wasn't involved. It's not like I went down the list of all the winners of that award and made a conscious decision to leave it out, I was looking at the things he is considered to have "won" and it wasn't on there.

And whether it fits or not, I was just laying out what the actual answer was. And even so, I'd argue that it doesn't really fit, because mine are 'all' his world title tag partners while the other is not 'all' his close friends. Just like the IC clue are 'all' the people he lost the IC belt to over the years. For clue one, why would you put in those three but not Michael, or Sean? It'd be a waaaaaay worse clue that way with a big logic hole in it. Good for you for managing to get it from that anyway, though.

Not a clue on yours, though I don't have much space to think about it right now.

            • YES!!!!!

The 1 title reign was as WCW Tag Champ with Cactus Jack, but he also won the Eastern Championship Wrestling Tag Championship with the Tazmaniac twice. However only 1 title reign is recognized by the WWE, but he did win the titles twice. AND since the promotion was NOT ECW/Extreme Championship Wrestling yet, it was not a 'Major Promotion'.

And Sullivan was on one episode of Baywatch, which was a World Wide Phenomenon in the 90s where the plot of the episode was clearly inspired by the plot of WCW at the time. Here is the synopsis:

C.J. rescues pro wrestler Hulk Hogan, who then tells her, Cody and the rest of the Baywatch team that he's in town with fellow wrestler Randy Savage in trying to prevent the Venice Boys Youth Center that is faced with being closed down from his arch rival, pro wrestler Ric Flair and his gang, Kevin Sullivan and Big Van Vader. Flair then challenges Hogan and Savage into a grudge wrestling match for control of the youth center. Meanwhile, Stephanie is dating Mitch's old friend, Tom Morella, a dermatologist who diagnoses her with melanoma, which turns Stephanie into a nervous wreck.

                • Ok...A quick one...

                  1. I have never won any major promotions title, yet I am one of the most decorated wrestlers ever (possibly/probably the most decorated).
                  2. I have won a total of 8 W.O.N. awards, but 7 different awards.
                  3. My most recent match was in August.

Could be a little easy, but it was supposed to be to let someone else 'earn' the new contest.

                  • I'm gonna guess by decorated you mean amount of titles from any promotion... so therefore my answer would be Jerry Lawler?

                    • Yes. I know very easy.

If I added correctly it looks to be over 230 titles in various promotions, but NONE, in the WWF/E. That is the most shocking. I am surprised that he never got a Tag Title or IC title run in the 90s, especially with about 30 years working for them.

                      • 1. Despite spending many years in WWF/E and WCW, I only ever won one singles title and one tag title.
                        2. 3 of my 4 kids are in the wrestling business.
                        3. I cameoed in a 70s wrestling film which included other real-life wrestlers.

                        • EDIT: Changing my original guess to Roddy Piper. He has a cameo and has 4 kids, only won 1 Tag Title and 1 IC title. I know his youngest made her AEW debut and then left the company. No idea if his other kids are in wrestling.

I know the movie, but I cannot think of who has 3 kids in the wrestling business.

Dusty Rhodes has 4 kids, but only 2 wrestle and he never won any title in WCW or WWF/E
Ric Flair won much more than 2 titles in WCW and WWE, but three of his kids were in the wrestling business. (Reid was before he died)

                          • If you're thinking Blackjack Mulligan, I think you might have the wrong movie, no? Wasn't that a 1980s movie, not the 1970s?

Gooner, this might unlock it too easily so feel free to ignore the question if you like, but would some of those children you refer to be adopted kids?

Not that I'm trying to imply that there's some sort of distinction that needs to be made - just I think that could well figure into the answer.

                            • The movie from the 70s has a lot of people in it playing themselves, and I'm not sure if BJM had a cameo or not. The movie is not Body Slam, not saying what it is, but I know what it isn't.

                              I edited my original answer.

                              • It's not Blackjack or Roddy.

Prime may be onto something though...
