  • This is interesting. The parliamentary group investigating wrestling following speaking out has recommended that - even though the shows themselves be treated as a performance - that pro wrestling training be considered as a sport. In short, that'll mean it comes under all the same safeguards that there in place for people training in football or cricket or whatever.

    • That is interesting... I could see it being a good thing but wrestling history is rife with clueless athletic commissions handing down nonsensical rules. Hopefully won't see that happen here.

      • So Revpro have a few shows about a half hour drive from my house. Never been to one of theirs before but think I might just to be somewhere new now that things are opening again.

        • The BritWres scene seems to have been particularly decimated but hell, a live wrestling experience is always fun in my book!

          • Hopefully! I don't really know what to expect anymore but we'll see, I guess. I suppose it can't have changed all THAT much.

I have no clue who is on the cards which might be a COVID thing, why advertise people who might have to drop out.

            • Looking over who they've used so far this year, not too many names I recognize. Could be a nice chance to discover some new faces.
