********* is reporting that Angelina Love was given the pink slip from TNA Wrestling yesterday after Visa issues prevented her from continuing to legally work in the United States.

The 27 year old Canadian born beauty has been part of The Beautiful People, teaming up with Velvet Sky and is also a former TNA Knockouts champion.

Her working Visa is reportedly expiring and some problems are preventing her from having it renewed.

Prior to joining TNA, Angelina Love had a WWE developmental deal and wrestled for OVW and DSW before being released in 2007. She joined TNA in September 2007.

No matter who you are and how hot you look, there's no messing around with US Immigration!

Well it sucks for a girl like Love to get let go from TNA since she and Velvet Sky (love her, she is the hottest of the hottest) were the best heel knock-outs, but I wouldn't be surprised if she delayed her Visa to expire as an excuse to be let go. Obvious reason, the WWE wants her, and IMO I hope they do. They need a top heel diva for either show, and one with genuine charisma and most deffinetly can easily get heat. That and she's well enough in the ring, atleast by wwe standards. Plus look at their top heel divas Mcool, Maryse, and Beth Phoinex?? With all do respect they're doing what they can and they are trying to get over as top diva heels, but they're all lacking that extra something, that I think Angelina has. They don't own the camera or get the fans to react the way Angelina can. I think the wwe canned her when she was too inexperienced, and now they are totally impressed with how she improved with tna. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see her jump to wwe when she clears out her Visa situation.

According to the main page, and the other thread, she hasn't had a visa in forever. Could come back to bite TNA in the ass for employing an illegal alien for several years.

The other thread says that she could get a 10 year ban, that would be insane, and would totally end her career. Terrible error on her part, as she's the one responsible for making sure it get's renewed. TNA probably cut her to try and cover their own ass.

I seriously doubt she was the only one too. If TNA was careless enough not to check the legal working status of one of their top stars, what would make anyone think they had proper paperwork for any foreign talent?

Poor Angel, she was awesome. Hopefully she can get things sorted out and have the visa problems fixed in like a year. I'm sure that when/if she is able to return to working in the States, TNA will take her back in a heart beat. I doubt that she would snub them for WWE if she had the chance after all tna did for her.

Why poor Angel? It was her own fault. If she had gotten her paperwork in order, this wouldn't be an issue. It's also not as if it's something that's just happened either. She has been without one for 2 years! She can hardly say she just forgot for 2 years! Also, it's not as if this is something she didn't know she had to have, she had one for her work in WWE, she had no excuse!

Does canada have any women's wrestling? This could be the end of Angel unfortuntely even if she doesn't get financially fined, and it would just be her going back to Lauren Williams, which is a shame, because she had real talent.

Edit: Stampede wrestling does have a women's division, but angelina might just turn away from wrestling now.

That's pretty harsh that this is all due to a working visa! On the plus side, all she needs to do is obtain another working visa to come back which won't take entirely long.
I don't think this will effect the Knockouts Division a whole lot considering theres a lot of good talent and eye candy now.

Well she could also have to pay back every cent she made in the us. Not to mention the fines that TNA is looking at for this. Just because somone is popular does not give them the right to flaunt the law. I hope she gets a massive fine and is banned to show a example that the goverment will go after anyone thats illegal and not just poor folk.
