If YBTB IV was to come back out who would be interested in joining. Leave your interest in the thread and how you would like to see the game run. Your ideas will be taken into consideration so please if your interested leave your thoughts and ideas in this thread

12 people in total are required. People like Kafu and Chris get first preference though.

"For those of you new to the competition, interested in signing up or with very short term memories, YBTB is a fantasy booking competition consisting of rounds. In each round you face a different "booker" trying to come up with your booking solution to a scenario given to everyone. At the end of the round everyone will vote on each matchup except their own to decide who won the matchup. In addition, there will be a special vote conducted to decide who had the best booking solution for that round, called "best of round"

Rules:
- There is 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, and 0 for a loss. You also receive 1 point if voted Best of Round.
- You don't vote for your matchup, but you can vote for your opponent for Best of Round.
- There will be a word limit for each round. This word limit won't normally exceed a 1000 words, except for scenarios that cover a lot of time at the discretion of the organisers/runners of the game.
- Every wrestler you use is considered "contracted" to the organisation that you use them in. (This was a point from the last competition that was brought in)
- Although we encourage bookers to do cheap plugs for other things, we ask that they please not have posts consisting entirely of cheap plugs.
- Running the competition this time is myself as the head honcho sort of guy, and assisting me is Chris K and Kano, assuming they sign back up with those names.
- There is a maximum allowable limit of 1100 words. You can set a lower word limit when it's your turn to post the scenario, but 1100 is the maximum
- You are limited to using TNA/WWE as the base for your scenario. Not everyone follows ROH or other indy feds, or wants to create their own fed.
- If you are making superstars ineligible, there is a limit of 3 superstars.

The above may be edited/changed at some point to reflect changes in how the game is played.

There are currently three spots open to anyone who wants them. We need at least one more person for the competition to work properly."

The idea is to have 10 people, with 9 rounds, facing each other once.

Good luck with this Kano. The key is to make sure it doesn't last too long or people will lose interest. YBTB 2 would have probably actually finished if it wasn't for the reset. Also make sure you keep a relatively low word limit. Last time the scenarios got longer and longer and no one did them.

The most successfull was probably YBTB 2. And one of the reasons I left YBTB 3 was because of the doubts over it's future.

Actually the original YBTB competition that I ran was only a week off finishing before it died. Top Shelf and Chris K would have been booking for the win in that last week I do believe.

I think this is a great idea, the reason I haven't brought it back is because it just doesn't work. You can't keep the competition going long enough for it to finish. It's sad but true.

YBTB 2? You mean the one that I saved when Kafu fell off the face of the world o ya, that one was the best. Then Kafu came back, we nearly rivaled YBTB and then some how died out. I've got plans, Kano, Kafu, Ima start working on some stuff to hopefully make this one last. Count me in.

Yes, the one Kafu is speaking of. Just two weeks left, and it all fell apart. Me and Shelf were tied going into it and it was me vs him. EPIC!

The problem with the last one was this: everyone was going too wide on the word counts and actual substinance of the scenarios, so either I:

Do all the scenarios myself (because I won't take part, I just want to organise it), or...

Make some strict rules about scenarios.

If I have chris, Kano and Kafu's blessing, then I will do.

Ok, this is the OFFICIAL YBTB sign up thread. Only sign up to this game if you are going to be 100% commited.

This game is about fantasy booking. Each week, someone will come up with a scenario. The particpants will face off in pairs each week to have a go at their solution to the scenario. This can be anything to do with TNA or WWE. A scenario would go like this:

SCENARIO EXAMPLE

After a sudden reaction to a weird cafeteria food, all former and current world champions of WWE (does not include ECW Championship) are hospitalised. It is your job to create a new storyline and some new stars to participate in the main event of SummerSlam.

The participants will post what they would do with that scenario, and at the end of the week, everyone will vote on which is the best of the two.

This game will run for 9 weeks, starting in September. On the weekend, the first scenario will be posted, and during the weekdays this will be when your entries are posted. On the Friday/Saturday, voting will commence, and on the Sunday results will be posted and the next scenario will be posted. ALL SCENARIOS WILL BE PM'D TO ME AND I WILL POST THEM.

There will be a (hopefully) stickied thread detailing full rules, current standings, current matchups and who is up to make the next scenario. There will be a seperate thread for each week's scenarios, and all votes will go in there WHEN I SAY SO.

There will be 10 places available. Automatic places will be given to chris_K, Kafu and Kano. Kafu has already told me that he won't be ablke to participate, so as of now there are 8 places left, unless Kano and/or chris tell me otherwise.
