Column Of The Month: May
Column Of The Month May 2009 We've just had what some might tenuously call a slow month here in the CF. We're over a month removed from the epic CSI tournament back in April, and the US vs UK battle for international supremacy is only just getting under way now that we're in June. But despite the lack of any competition in May, the CF isn't slow in the slightest. It's still booming. Going by the "last post" dates, we easily had close to 100 columns posted last month. That's insane. I'm glad it's not my job to pick a winner here. It's yours. Get to voting, people. Rules
Voting ends at 12am GMT on Friday 5th June.

Kind of hard since most of the major players were infrequent during May.
I was going to vote for lenjr04 but I don't know how much time he's got on his hands to finish his music piece, so I can only in good conscience choose Box Car Rocco for showing major improvement every time he puts up a new column.

It was a decent month for columns, a lot of the US v UK stuff was pretty good.
My vote goes to NightofDay. Consistently enjoyable columns throughout May!

Ooh Sorry Team UK, I hope this doesn't get me kicked off. HM's for Noddy, J Boom, MyLee and Cici. It seems like this guy has disappeared but 3 columns for May, two of which were outside his comfort zone and very very good. My vote goes to:

Johnny Boomerang His "Finding Yourself" column was excellent.

Mylee also does extremely well when stepping outside of that gimmick and the Stock Market column was one of the best columns i've read in a long time.

I enjoyed all of the columns this man busted out in May and since he came to The CF he has consistantly improved in every outing.

Announcement Unfortunately, NightOfDay's recent columns were plagiarized off another Internet site. As such, he has been perma-banned, and obviously ineligible for COTM from here on out. Anyone who voted for NightOfDay can edit their posts and change their votes if they wish to do so.

Well with the recent issues involving the Night Rising column I figure I should clear some things up. I now am the legal owner of the Night Rising column and likeness and thus a vote for said column is a vote for yours truly. So feel free to keep those votes for Night Rising, just make sure you change the author.
Don't even wait for Sheepy or Deg to say it's cool, I wouldn't even bother saying it if it wasn't.

That's it. Time's up. Congratulations to...
cicero and his International Fun Slide! It was an odd month this month. Most of the veteran columnists held back after being involved in CSI for most of April, so that allowed quite a few of the newer guys to step forward. Six of them, to be exact. Unfortunately, it wasn't as close as it could've been. One columnist who shall not be named was disqualified from the competition for plagiarism. He's now been banned for good. Don't plagiarise, people. It's bad for your health. This cretinous soul was cicero's closest competition. As a result of the disqualification, cicero managed to get more votes than the rest of the field put together. Lenjr was closest with 4 and MyLeeCyrus managed 3. J-Boom, BCR and Andy Savana were also involved. With Stinger winning last month and cicero this month, the old guys are proving they can still get the job done. cicero, when you've finished your COTM column, PM me and I'll give you the destructions.
