Why not keep him associated with Nash? What do they gain by breaking them up and moving Nash into this new angle? They could just as easily move Nash into an angle with Jarrett and keep EY at his side.

Also one would think that Easy realizes that it backfired on him in the 90s and it may backfire on him again. Ric Doesnt own any of the tape but im almost sure that they used it on the territories outside the NWA in America while the 4 Horsemen were on top. If the WWE owned it they would have contested the Extreme Horsemen (wwe legal used to love to fuck with Indys trying to make it)
the belt has now undergone yet another name change lol. And its finally been christened the TV title, something that a lot of people(myself included) wanted in the first place.
I'd stick a time limit on the matches for the title. Have like a 10 or 15 min time limit for Impact broadcasts and a 20 min time limit on PPV's. Make it defended weekly or atleast 3 times a month on tv. The time limit could be a good heat enhancer for the heel champs who hold on to it. I remember hating to see a heel retain his belt via time limit draw. AJ might be able to make it work, especially against a guy like Big Rob Terry. Terry could thrash him the entire match but fall short of retaining because of the time limit.

Its not like they buried the Angle, they just put themselves over. The Smaller companies have always done stuff like this. I remember that Foley used to use WTBS and WCW to get heat in ECW when he was doing his Anti-hardcore gimmick.

Yea and I remember it backfiring on them as well. The "Huckster" and the "NachoMan". That backfired on VKM. JR, I dont remember. But I do remember Oklahoma... And DX/nWo... I guess it was a little different to me since the guys in DX and nWo are friends behind the scenes.

If you like both these teams, I heavily suggest watching the Briscoes. They wrestle primarily for RoH, but you can catch a couple other matches in different promotions here and there. Amazingly enough, they're...almost like a combination of both teams.
I'd say Claudio and Hero, or the Kings of Wrestling too. They're different, more European style, but are fantastic separate and great together.
...though the more I'm thinking about it, the harder a time I'm having coming up with different teams. Fuck, certainly no tag team in WWE right now.
