    New uniforms or logos

    One of my favorite threads.

Utah Jazz going back to old note logo. Didn't see any jerseys, I'd imagine they'd be the 80s style ones.

Golden State Warriors new logo and jerseys.

Cleveland Cavs also tweaked their logo and colors.

I'm kind of so so on the Jazz one.

The new GS logo is cool but not too keen on the jersey. I guess I have to see it on a player.

Thumbs up on the tweaked Cavs logo. Now lets see if that team gets tweaked.

My favorite team has left these behind:

    For a return to these:

The change to the retro sweaters makes me SOOOO Happy though. those 2006 models were hideous.

The new GS one isn't new at all, they're taking it back old school and I love it.

Isn't that the Jazz's old logo too? I'm a fan of the old logo's so I'm good with those. Cavs not so much

I doubt it but they were popular when the Oil had them.

Hey I'm not too knowledgeable about hockey but did that Devils FA take their contract? I think it was some 10 year 100 mil dollar contract. I thought that was crazy until I heard the Devil's supposedly offered him a 17 year deal lol.

No, Kovy didnt take the Islanders deal.....from what I recall, the report was that there was never a legit offer made by the Islanders.

The Leafs are changing certain parts of their jersey this year, adding the veined leaf on the shoulders, as well as stripes along the bottom, and honestly I gotta say that I think I liked the RBK ones better lol.

The Warriors should just wear The City unis full-time. I say that about every old uniform that I like, but seriously, they aren't going to find something better, just embrace it.

The Warriors colors/logos were awesome, there was no reason to do that.

The Jazz just need to not be the Jazz anymore, give the Jazz back to New Orleans, give the Hornets back to Charlotte and let Utah be the Bobcats.

    I wish.

There's a rumor that the Mavs are scrapping their dark blue road uniforms and promoting their light-blue P. Diddy alternates to the main road uniform.

I hope this is true. The light blue alternate is my favorite Mav uni and I'd like to see more of it (and I wouldn't mind seeing the white home uniform re-designed to match the font and layout).

These are so clean, though. Seems like a bad idea to scrap them completely.

They're definitely good, but the light blues are better. Best case would be making the dark blues an alternate but if the price of more light blue is scrapping the dark blue, so be it.

But this is just one rumor, there's a lot of gossip about the Mavs uni situation right now. There's a shot of Dominique Jones wearing a uniform that is the dark blue layout/design with a lighter blue (which doesn't look bad but is also worse than every other current Mavs uniform), but DallasBasketball says that it's a red herring for other changes and who knows what's really up.

I think they're pretty boring, and this is coming from a guy who loves things like the Browns' helmet and the Colts' white-on-white-on-white. I don't think they're bad but they aren't really an upgrade in any way.

I'm guessing the top selling Cavs jersey, will still be LeBron. People will just stick his name on the back of these.

It's still not as bad as the ones they had in the mid-nineties. Uno has to know which ones I'm talking about.

The Cavs are introducing new jerseys this season for one reason and that is to continue trying to distance them from LeBron James. It won’t work because it will be one of the biggest stories all season, but they’ll try.

Speaking of jerseys I don’t like even though they aren’t new and the Lakers have been wearing them for a couple of seasons now I hate the fact that they now wear white. I know they did it to boost sales and make more money but the Lakers colors have always been purple & gold. I liked the fact that they were one of the only (maybe the only) team in the league that didn’t wear white.
