    Fallout: New Vegas

Well, I guess it's time to start this bad boy up.

Just found an actual in-game video for FO:NV. It didn't really spoil anything for me, then again I'm one of the resident FO geeks around here. If you want to be safe and not know about a couple things I might not watch it. If you wanna watch, but don't want to spoil a weapon and something else, stop the video at :40.

But still, watch at your own accord. Don't blame me.

I'm looking forward to this. Just bought Fallout 3 on a whim when that came out because there was a discount or something. Wound up really liking it. Still trying to play it actually. So I can definitely see picking this one up.

Ok, so I just found out that depending on where you pre-order FO:NV you get a different "bonus pack".

Have you seen the bonuses from buying the collectors edition? Some of it looks cool.

Actually Vosslier is correct. There's a difference between what I posted and the Collector's Edition. The CE comes with poker chips and normal CE stuff. The stuff I posted is in-game stuff you get like armor, guns, health stuff.

I stand corrected then lol Thought it was the same thing.

    Current dates:
    North America: October 19th
    Europe: October 22nd

    This is the collectors edition.

The full, unadulterated contents is as follows:

♠ “Lucky 7” poker chips. Each of the seven poker chips was designed to represent chips from the major casinos found on the New Vegas strip and throughout the Mojave Wasteland.

♠ A fully customised Fallout: New Vegas deck of cards. Each card in the pack has been uniquely illustrated to depict characters and factions found within the game. Use the cards to play poker, blackjack or Caravan, an original card game that was created by Obsidian especially for Fallout: New Vegas!

♠ A recreation of the game’s highly coveted “Lucky 38” platinum chip.

♠ A hardcover graphic novel “All Roads”, that tells the story of some of the characters and events that lead up to Fallout: New Vegas. “All Roads” was written by Chris Avellone, the game’s creative director, and created in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics.

♠ ‘The Making of Fallout: New Vegas’ DVD. This documentary DVD will contain exclusive video content, including interviews with the developers in which they take you from concept to creation and discuss topics such as story, setting, legacy of the Fallout franchise and more.

Definately getting the Collector's Edition, but I dont like the pre-order location specials at all. I want the binoculars but hate walmart so hopefully they will still have this stuff in game.

    Achievement list is out.

No spoilers in them, just some mission names at the bottom. Trophy list should be the same.

I'm so looking forward to this game. I jumped in the Fallout bandwagon way too late - my brother got me Fallout 3 for my birthday last year, and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Here's to hoping this one is more of the same awesomeness than that.

I think I'm going to splurge on the Collector's Edition. All that stuff looks pretty sweet.

What system is everyone getting this for? I know there was talk awhile back about coming up with some kind of competition for the Hardcore mode where bullets have weight and ya gotta drink and sleep. If we could come up with some kind of competition I'd be all for it, but I think it'd be best if we were all mainly on the same system.

It's never too late to get on the Fallout bandwagon. I didn't get it till April/May last year and went on a 300+ hour trek through that godforsaken wasteland.

I'm contemplating the Collector's Edition as well.

I don't care what all the naysayers and haters are saying, it looks the same as 3, yadda, yadda, yadda. I don't care, I loved 3 and I'm sure I'm gonna love the shit outta New Vegas.

*edit* Starting to change my mind about the CE, we'll see. Now contemplating where to pre-order, I want the binoculars from Walmart, but I also want the throwing spears from Amazon. Or I'll do what I always do, rent it from GameFly and use my earned up points to get $15 off the used price and be the only one to use it and in the process save myself $20-30. But then I'm a day or two behind everyone else.

My vagina has two sets of lips
But I don't get monthly blood drips
    My vagina hardly even used

My vagina's got lots of extra skin
They took my outtie and made it an in
    Changing Donnie to Marie Osmond

    Operation successfull
    But now I gotta pee
    Through a miniature hole
Gotta remember to put the seat down
And when I wipe my ass
I go from front to back
    Cause I don't want a bladder infection

This may be the game I am most looking forward to this year. I burned through Fallout 3 twice and never got bored so I am anticipating an entire new world to discover. Include the new customizable weapons and I am imagining endless possibilities.
