I figure there are a few more weeks left, so starting a thread on this ani't a horrible waste of time. First of all, i really think this season's fighters are all pretty well-polished (might be that i have a bias for middle weights though).

I do like the fact that Dana acknowledged how wrong he was about Chuck picks at the end of the last episode, basically saying something to the effect of "i was wrong, you were right."

Finally, it's a shame to see Tito go (i don't like the dude as a fighter at all and think he's a prick, but he had those kids learning and he seemed like a really good coach), but i absolutely understand Dana's rationael. You've gotta think that Tito knew going into the season that he wasn't "fit" to fight Chuck and also that the only way Chuck would be in the same room as the dude would be if he had a chance (and i stress chance because i don't think it's the given that it used to be by any means) to knock his fucking head off. That said, Dana raises a good point - if he ain't fit to fight he shouldn't have taken the coaching job to begin with. Do i think that Tito's removal as coach was done at the detriment of his students, yup sure do. Do i think Rich Franklin is a great replacement, yup sure do. Do i think Tito's students should blame him for his removal, unfortunately, yup sure do.

There was only six days left in the competition before the finalists train on their own so it wasn't that big of a deal, especially when there was only one fighter left on Tito's team anyway.

I'm surprised that big-haired dude quit like a bitch last night. He was a big talker too.

he was skilled and definitely a tremendous athlete but the dude was mentally weak. and i don't just mean because he bitched out of the third round. i mean any time the guy got clipped in the face he went down like a rock. there are a lot of guys that hate being hit in the face. frank mir for example is the same way.

Personally I'd rather see Liddell vs Franklin anyway. I think Franklin is a better match up against Liddell. Tito doesn't have the right style to stand with Chuck and Chuck would beat him every time. Franklin is a more rounded fighter and in better condition. Sure it affects the contestants in the short term, but long term they have been taught 2 very different styles and it couldbe beneficial. You've got Tito and Rich teaching you 2 differnt fighting styles opposed to learning just 1, I think that has to beneficial doesn't it?

This has been a good season, and Yager did bitch out, but that won't matter. Both of the fighters in the final are most likely on Chuck's team.

Chuck would have beaten Tito again and will probably decision Franklin.

If it were Chuck and Tito, it would have ended up in a decision anyway, most likely in Liddell's favor. I'm still thinking it goes decision now, but with Franklin the winner.

Jamie Yager was my pick to win it, very surprised he didn't respond for the third round. Did anybody see the Twitter "beef" between Tito and Yager yesterday? Turned out that a fake Yager page was running and started calling Tito a pussy, Tito responded back, then found out it was a fake account.

My thoughts for the final is Court McGee vs. Kris McCray, with Court taking it home.

I'm thinking the exact opposite, Bryant VS. Tavares, and I'll pull for Tavares.

shit, guess I was wrong. Oh well, I'll take Court. He seems to be ever improving, and McCray isn't very good.

I fucked up and tuned in at 10, not 9. I was gonna ask if the first fight was worth tuning in for, but Court is my pick to win an has been since his getting picked to replace generic other guy #7.

Seriously, worst season of fighters. The Chuck vs Tito drama carried the entire thing, with only a handful of stand out fighters in the ring or as personalities. They are really running out of quality fighters, it might be time to do another "comeback" season, or do an International one. I doubt the dumb American audience would tune in for the ratings, but I'd much rather have Team Brazil vs Team Japan. Fuck the reality drama, just give me new and interesting fighters.

Not murder, but a win for Rich. Bog mouth minority Yager might finally shut up now.

Edit
Hamill is such a fag. I fucking hate his 'tard ass.
